We specialize in treating common mood disorders like depression, seasonal affective disorder, and bipolar disorder.  Treatment can include medications, diet, supplements, lifestyle modifications, and learned coping skills.  You are not alone. 

We specialize in treating students dealing with depression, anxiety and problems with focus and attention (ADHD) We do not prescribe Schedule II drugs such as Adderall (amphetamine), Ritalin/Concerta (methylphenidate), or Focalin (dexmethylphenidate).  We have alternative medications we are happy to prescribe.  If you are on a stimulant and would like to continue your regimen, please seek an alternate practice. 

Anxiety is one of the most common psychiatric conditions.  We will help you manage the anxiety and improve your quality of life. Anxiety often affect sleep quality, we will work with you to get better sleep. 

Menopause can effect your thinking, your mood, how you sleep and get along with others.  We understand and want you to get back to being yourself! We use medication, lifestyle modifications, supplements, and hormone replacement.   

Obesity has many components - genetic, metabolic, psychological.  We assist you in identifying factors you can modify and encourage you in your pursuit of health.  In some cases medications are helpful in your pursuit of metabolic change.  We understand that your physical health had an impact on your mental health.

 You have been strong and independent all your life.  Now things seem slower, you have less patience, you are forgetting things.  We will perform a complete psychiatric evaluation and make medication recommendations which may have some benefit for patients suffering from depression, dementia with depression or behavioral changes.  We focus on educating and empowering patients to maintain independence.
